Artist - William Harris:
William is a Gunditjamara/Gunai Kurnai man. His Grandmother is from the Gunditjamara Tribe and his Grandfather is from the Gunai Kurnai Tribe. His mother and father lived in and around Gippsland, Australia, where he grew up.
William has been painting stories from the region for the past 16 years. As a strong supporter of Aboriginal tradition, William endeavours to capture the essence of tradition in all of his paintings. This is an important feature of his artworks.
